A robust European defence industry is a prerequisite for responding to the drastically changed security environment. Strengthening the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB) will require increased long-term investment, demand aggregation, joint or coordinated procurement and continued armament cooperation with like-minded partners to achieve economies of scale and technological sovereignty of the EDTIB. We call for urgent action to mobilise EU, public and private financing, including leveraging the European Investment Bank to adapt lending practices and expand funding for defence industry SMEs and mid-cap companies, while ensuring geographical balance.

Очередной "пакт о ненападении" намечаетца:

Заместитель главы МИД РФ Сергей Рябков заявил, что убеждение Евросоюза в возможном нападении со стороны России вызывает беспокойство. По его словам, Москва готова даже юридически зафиксировать обязательств о ненападении на европейские страны или членов НАТО.

НАТО может уже не быть через 10 лет, заявил бывший генсек Альянса Столтенберг.
"Это не естественный закон, что у нас будет НАТО вечно. Это не высечено в камне, что НАТО просуществует следующие десять лет", — сказал он в интервью TV2.
Столтенберг заявил, что нужно всерьез воспринимать угрозы Трампа вывести США из НАТО, которые он озвучивает с 2018 года.
